Acrylic Painting
Livestream
Learn the fundamentals of acrylic painting in a relaxed, supportive setting. This class covers essential techniques like color mixing, brushwork, layering, and composition. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence and creative expression through paint. All supplies are provided at no cost by HCA. Email nuri@hcahousing.org with your name and mailing address if you would like art supplies. Please sign-up 5+ days in advance so we can make sure supplies arrive in time.
Music Appreciation
Online
Gain a better understanding and enjoyment of music! Each class will focus on music from a specific era, genre, musical, performer, or region of the world. Together, we will listen to different examples of it and learn about its unique sounds, history, and culture. Your thoughts and reactions are welcome, though not required.
Activities of Daily Living
In-Person
In each class we discuss the tasks of everyday life. You'll take part in activities related to independent living as well as cognitive tests to challenge your mind. On occasion, you may take advantage of a complementary Theragun body tune-up or go home with informational handouts and free samples.

If you watched Singing 101 and felt yourself longing for jazz examples, then Singing 102 is for you! This video is dedicated to warmups, scales, vibrato, and scatting specific to jazz singing. You'll get to see this style at work in two different jazz faves: "At Last" and "Misty."
